Officially opened in 2021, our new tactical firearms training centre is a state-of-the-art facility which has already attracted attention internationally and featured on BBC TV.

This indoor live firearms training facility, where the CNC’s Firearms Training Unit conducts a lot of its firearms training, is the biggest and best of its kind in Europe.

But there is more to the place than just world-class firearms training. A lot of thought has gone into making Griffin Park a great working environment, with ample office and meeting space available, all of which has been designed with accessibility in mind.

Colleagues who work for the CNC across the country come to Griffin Park for training, so there’s always a buzz about the site, making it a great place to meet many of the people who work for the CNC up and down the UK.   

There is a lot of beautiful countryside to see in Cumbria, and Griffin Park is a great place from which to see it, with England’s highest mountain Scafell Pike visible from the site.

Griffin Park is located close to the historic town of Whitehaven and the ruggedly beautiful Cumbria coastline, but also with the stunning Lake District less than an hour away by car.
